Clinical Study Shows More People Get Relief From Homeopathic Arthritis Remedy Over Standard Drugs

(WAUKON, IA) Fifty-five percent of arthritis patients achieved 40% or greater pain relief, with no side effects, after taking the all-natural, homeopathic rheumatism preparation supplied by Beaumont Bio-Med, Inc. of Waukon, IA, according to a clinical study published in the July issue of The American Journal of Pain Management (AJPM Vol.8 No.3 July 1998, 89-91).

The report, entitled "Alternative Medicine. Osteoarthritic pain: A Comparison of Homeopathy and Acetaminophen" , is the result of a study designed to compare the pain relieving capability of a safe homeopathic preparation with the frequently prescribed acetaminophen. The article also cited other studies linking the effectiveness of acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), noting that there was virtually no comparative difference in their ability to relieve pain.

These drugs, currently prescribed by 94% of primary care physicians for osteoarthritic pain, present a variety of potentially harmful complications, including compromise to both liver and kidney function, risk of perforation and hemorrhage from peptic ulcer.

The study involved 65 clinically diagnosed male and female osteoarthritic patients with one or more chronically enlarged joints. The study concluded that RHEUMATISM relieves osteoarthritic pain as effectively as acetaminophen and without the potentially serious side effects.
